In most of his speeches and other appearances, President Joe Biden (D) talks at length about victims, often citing them by name and mentioning where and when they died. Yet a closer look at his many proposals proves he doesnt really care about these victims. He is simply focused on strategies to reduce the rights of lawful gun ownersparticular examples are just sometimes useful to his desire to curtail this individual right. |

Virginians will not be allowed to carry firearms near voting locations when early voting is in effect, according to Attorney General Mark Herrings formal opinion regarding state law. Legislation signed into law this year prohibits the possession of firearms within 40 feet of a voting location beginning one hour before they open and ending one hour after they close. According to Herrings opinion, this standard does not just apply to election day, but also to any day in which a location is accepting early votes. |

Introduced in 1980, the 9x21mm IMI was a creation between the Franco Benvenuti agency of Italy and Israel Military Industries (IMI). Many countries, including Italy and most of the European Union, have banned the use of all military ammunition, such as the 9mm Parabellum. In order to circumvent gun control measures, the collaborative effort to create a substitute ammunition was seen as a good resolution and would allow civilians to own and use a powerful cartridge without fear of repercussions.

Most will remember the devastation that hit Louisiana, as well as several neighboring states, when Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005. New Orleans was dealt a particularly hard blow, and some may feel it will never completely recover. Certain losses, especially those who lost their lives, can never be restored, but the region covered by Katrinas deadly path has spent a decade-and-a-half building back. While that area of the country has always been prone to hurricanes, they hoped they would not soon experience another with the destructive force that 2005 storm brought. |

Its a common practice for firearm manufacturers to create an item with mass appeal first, and then follow up with line extensions. Such is the case with SIG Sauers wildly successful Tread series, which debuted in 2018. And while 5.56 NATO-chambered AR-15-type firearms have the broadest appeal, theres a segment of the AR community that desiresor needsthe upscaled performance delivered by the larger 7.62 NATO round. As such, for 2020, the company added the .30-cal. 716i to the Tread lineup. |

The Biden administration recently prohibited the import of ammunition from Russia. Thats bad news for American firearms owners, but there may be much worse to come. The gun prohibition lobbies, having mostly failed in their campaigns to convince legislatures to ban guns, have intensified their efforts to disarm Americans by other means. The Biden ammunition ban is one step in the process. |

The new P-10 F Competition-Ready offers all of the popular striker-fired pistol lines features in an enhanced, competition-ready package. While many of CZs tactical handguns were born of competition guns, the new CZ P-10 F Competition-Ready pistol followed the opposite trajectory. The CZ P-10 C, released in 2017, was the gunmakers first striker-fired pistol. It was designed as a compact polymer-framed gun for self-defense and military use and was followed by the subcompact P-10 S and the full-size P-10 F. |

Martin Tuason, Armscor/Rock Islands president, is a shooter and die-hard gun-guy. Hes not one of those company presidents who used to work for an appliance company. His family started the company and the Tuason family still runs it, with Martins enthusiasm helping to keep the fire burning brightly. I wanted Armscor to get into the striker-fired market, but not with a plastic gun. Thats been done, Martin told me. He explained Dustin Jones, their CFO, really knows the market and researched whether itd be a good idea to make the move. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling in terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? [...] The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!" Alexander Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago (Chapter 1 "Arrest") |
