... "At the very worst, its fair to wonder why a breach in a congressmans Internet security does not rise to a level warranting a federal investigationespecially in an age when Weiner himself is demanding stripping away gun owner rights in secret and without due process in the name of fighting domestic terrorism." ...

Submitter's note: Thursday's Gun Rights Examiner commentary grills up some media hotdogs for being lapdogs instead of watchdogs. Also find out why there's a new Project Gunwalker panic at ATF HQ, and why (Surprise!) not all Republicans are your friends.

"No--not the McCarthyism of Carolyn 'What's a Barrel Shroud?' McCarthy, although the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) is of course also fully on board with that kind. What we're talking about here, though, is the McCarthyism of Senator Joseph 'Tail-Gunner Joe' McCarthy, who during the early days of the Cold War, achieved a kind of notoriety, after accusing the U.S. State Department of knowingly harboring scores or hundreds (the number varies, depending on which account one uses) of suspected communist infiltrators."

"From there, McCarthy graduated to wild-eyed tales of widespread communist infiltration of the media, and even the Truman administration and the Army. ..." ...

I just had to sing the gun's praisesand pass out a few business cards. When the potential customer said something about preferring the look of a Smith, I nodded sagely and Googled intensely. When I turned the iPhone towards the guy behind the counter, showing him the previously posted jpeg of Gemini Customs Ruger SP101, he said 'wow.' A genuine pause n wow. One of the biggest battles hes fought since returning is with the anxiety he experiences any time hes more than arms reach from a weapon. "In this time of constantly accelerating innovation, any piece of equipment older than a few decades is due for replacement. This temporally-enhanced evolutionary process holds true for everything from refrigerators to battle rifles. A few years ago, Magpul designed the Magpul Masada rifle. Although the marketing department might have spent a little more time at Wikipedia (the siege at Masada only ended victoriously on the symbolic level), the Magpul long gun was everything the company believed a battle rifle should be. Remington took their concept to full production with their Remington ACR." ...

Too many times antagonistic interrogators reduce gun rights advocates to defending their self-defense firearms by saying 'Because I have the right to keep and bear arms.' Thats one step up from telling a teen to be home at 10pm 'because I said so.' With about as much effect. I reckon we should explore this questionwhich isnt a question for youa while longer.
