I previously pointed out that internet economics makes the buying of firearms that have little value not worth the extra shipping, transfer and any repair costs involved. But these inexpensive firearms can still be face-to-face fair deals. Heres the second rifle in a $100 two-fer that wasnt worthwhile to put online, but turned up with a surprise.

For those of us who follow gun news, its well-known that the NRA has been a corrupt organization for a long time and that the problem has grown worse over time. Self-serving leaders wasted the organizations money and largely abandoned the causes of fighting for gun rights and firearms education. |

The similarities between the 6mm Creedmoor (also 6mm CM or 6mm CRDMR) and 6.5 Creedmoor (also 6.5 CM or 6.5 CRDMR) dont stop at the names. Florida's Stand Your Ground Law, enacted in 2005, has been a subject of intense debate and scrutiny. This law allows individuals to use deadly force in self-defense without the duty to retreat when they reasonably believe such force is necessary to prevent imminent death, great bodily harm, or the commission of a forcible felony. Understanding this law is crucial, especially for gun owners, as it significantly impacts how self-defense cases are handled in Florida. |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
The right of a citizen to bear arms, in lawful defense of himself or the State, is absolute. He does not derive it from the State government. It is one of the high powers" delegated directly to the citizen, and `is excepted out of the general powers of government.' A law cannot be passed to infringe upon or impair it, because it is above the law, and independent of the lawmaking power." [Cockrum v. State, 24 Tex. 394, at 401-402 (1859)] |
