"The recent spate of horrifying and highly publicized attacks in schools has once again brought attention to a longstanding problem. Unfortunately none of the 'solutions' being suggested touch on one of the real core issues of the matter. The inalienable human right to self-defense and the just and righteous use of violence in exercising that right - even for children."
"For decades the teacher unions, national PTA, and a variety of other educational/behavioral 'experts' have actively worked to instill the notion ... that, 'violence never solves anything.' They have instituted 'Zero Tolerance' policies for violence in schools, which mandate suspension or expulsion for anyone participating in any violent behavior such as fighting." ... |

"As another election draws near, it is important to remember why every gun owner must get themselves, their family, and their friends to the polls. Alan Korwin, distinguished author of several books focusing on the political climate concerning firearms, is helping to remind us. He has reproduced 'The Left Wing's Gun Plan' describing goals of certain political leaders' plans to further erode our firearm rights. He claims that the list of goals was widely circulated during the Clinton Administration and was adopted as a Five Year Plan. Voting the wrong people into office next month could set this Five Year Plan into motion. How would you feel about some of the items on this list that have been included below:" ... |

"It's that time of year about the election and one big topic I'm always hearing about is gun control or anti gun talk. These are brought up by people who have never fired a gun nor understand the whole point of a gun. A gun is not meant as a self defense tool although many people believe it is. It's a sport, a game. You and a few buddies take the guns out and have small competitions. Nothing different then shooting basketball or playing baseball. The reasons people think guns are bad are because of two reasons which Im going to address." ... |

QUOTES
TO REMEMBER |
"Let us contemplate our forefathers, and posterity, and resolve to maintain the rights bequeathed to us from the former, for the sake of the latter. The necessity of the times, more than ever, calls for our utmost circumspection, deliberation, fortitude, and perseverance. Let us remember that `if we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom.' It is a very serious consideration...that millions yet unborn may be the miserable sharers of the event." --Samuel Adams, speech in Boston, 1771 |
